Trans people exist and they are trans. They deserve to be treated fairly by society and competently by physicians. However, males cannot become females or vice versa. If trans could accept being trans rather than insist on biological impossibilities we’d all have better lives.
Oh dear. Canon Clare of Sunderland Minster has had her arse handed to her by the trustees, who’ve obviously been advised by decent lawyers.
FAFO indeed.
@HJoyceGender@HelenSimpson4 Far from tragedy I relish Scott taking the opportunity to spell out how many beans make six - he does it so elegantly - and rejoice in the absence of any snooker to distract him from so doing 🥳
@stellacreasy Your video has attracted much learned and considered analysis but, basically, you are so far off your head you've posted a video that makes you look not just ignorant but incompetent.
This was a recommendation to the Council on EU priorities for the 70th session of the UN Commission on the Status of Women back in March which, in the event, said nothing about trans women in it's outcomes document https://t.co/Lfq0mv4Hyh
European Parliament has taken a clear stance affirming recognition of trans women as women. This resolution highlights the importance of respecting gender identity in law, policy, and daily life, marking an important step toward equality, dignity, and inclusion across Europe. 🌈⚖️
This is might upset both trans and otherwise disabled people but the Equality Act 2010 defines disability as "a physical or mental condition which has a substantial and long-term effect on a person's ability to carry out normal daily activities". One might argue trans qualify.
🚨DR UK's Statement on the EHRC's New Code of Practice
"We are appalled at implications that an adequate workaround is trans people using Disabled toilets instead. We will not be used as a loophole in the wider erosion of trans rights."

@itsmyname591 "Clinically significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning," is an essential feature of gender dysphoria. No diagnosis, no meds (in the UK). So anyone on cross sex hormones meets the EA definition of disabled.
@EdwinWine1@LeftieStats That discrimination would be just as unlawful as choosing not to employ anyone over 45 because of their age (which, of course, happens tens of thousands of times every day and no one gives a fig).
@BrigitteEmpire Your first paragraph is transwallop. It is undeniably, demonstrably transwallop.
What evidence do you have for your second paragraph, or is that just more transwallop because facts are irrelvant to you?
