Sure shuffle the cabinet to fill vacancies. But given our turbulent times, we need a government with a mandate.
@JustinTrudeau, if you love Canada 🇨🇦 and love Canadians as you say you do—it is time to step aside. 🛑
On a day like today, Canadians can see the Premiers are united.
Unified in protecting your jobs.
Unified in investing in the military.
Unified in cracking down on drugs.
This unity important. Premiers are ready to lead.
@Puglaas@JustinTrudeau I’m sure Freeland’s resignation is bitter sweet for you Jody.
Imagine, if Chrystia had stood up for you, instead of Justin Trudeau, Canada would likely not be in the crisis that it is today.
What’s happening now, is simply history repeating itself.
Pfft.
And he’s a “feminist”?
Earlier this year Colin Farrell started a foundation to help children and young adults with disabilities prepare for greater independence through advocacy, education and innovative programs. (Colin Farrell Foundation) ❤️
His son James has a rare debilitating disorder called Angelman Syndrome.
“I want the world to be kind to James. I want the world to treat him with kindness and respect.”
An elderly First Nations man had his braids cut off in an Edmonton hospital. A Cree Alberta doctor says stronger action needs to be taken to prevent racist braid cutting. James Makokis says it should be considered assault.

A Prime Minister committed to true reconciliation would have removed Randy (and the other Randy) from Cabinet long ago. Instead we get to watch white people play ancestry wheel of fortune.
So shameful and extremely destructive! #CdnPoli
Sick & horrifying.
Our justice system is broken after 9 years of Trudeau.
This monster, who bragged about raping a teenager, was handed only 3 years of jail time.
How is that possible?

He dedicated his life to ensure we don’t forget the past and to create a better tomorrow.
‘It’s education that got us into this mess and it’s what will get us out.’
Murray Sinclair was a great Canadian, a great Manitoban, a great Anishinaabe.
His career stands as a legacy of public service and a deep commitment to truth, fairness and dignity for all people.
He was the first Indigenous person to be named to the Manitoba provincial court and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Manitoba. He was the first, but he will be remembered as one of the best.
He was appointed co-commissioner of the Aboriginal Justice Inquiry, which laid bare systemic racism within the justice system and is considered a foundational perspective on the system’s relationship with Indigenous people. He led the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Inquest and his report spurred systematic change in the delivery of pediatric cardiac care in our province.
The penultimate moment of his career was his work as chair of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada. He approached a process that could have been divisive and instead transformed it into Calls to Action for the future of our country, helping all Canadians to learn to walk together into a future of respect and understanding where we live up to the phrase residential school survivors taught us – Every Child Matters.
It will be a long time before our nation produces another person the calibre of Murray Sinclair. He showed us there is no reconciliation without truth. We should hold dear in our hearts his words that our nation is on the cusp of a great new era and we must all “dare to live greatly together.”
On behalf of the people of Manitoba, I extend my condolences to his family and to all Canadians for the loss of Mazina Giizhik.
A sacred fire will be open to the public on the north side of the legislative building grounds until Murray Sinclair’s funeral later this week.

A BC Conservative candidate who made derogatory comments about Indigenous Peoples on election night more than a week ago is now facing calls to be removed from the party.
Here's what was said, along with the reaction that followed.
British-Canadian scientist Geoffrey Hinton was recently awarded the Nobel Prize for Physics.
Hinton says he donated half of his prize money to a charity that trains Indigenous communities how to develop and provide access to safe water systems.
