ONE FRANKLIN: Whether you just got here—or you’ve been here for generations—this is for you.
Franklin is growing, yes. But we’re not chasing change—we’re guiding it. With care. With heart. And with everyone in mind.
In this short video, Mayor Dr. Ken Moore takes you on a journey through the town we all call home. You’ll see what makes Franklin special—and how we’re working to keep it that way. From preserving our history to planning for the future, from front porches to high-tech infrastructure—it’s all part of the same story.
One community. One future. One Franklin.
Watch now and see where we’re going—together:
🚨 PLEASE SHARE 🚨 Once again, the Franklin Police Department has been made aware of scammers impersonating law enforcement officers — even using the names of real people associated with local agencies. These scammers may call claiming you owe money or have a warrant. Do not fall for it. The Franklin Police Department will NEVER ask you to pay money over the phone. If you get a call like this, hang up and report it. Stay alert. Stay safe.

Good morning, weather peeps, and how are you on this misty Monday morning? Today is the last day of what has been a days-long pattern of unsettled weather. Temperatures will stay on the cool side, but most areas should see at least some sun by this afternoon.
This recognition is a powerful reminder that the very best teaching happens in our public schools, where passion meets purpose and every student is given the opportunity to thrive! Congratulations, Mrs. Colvett! Your work demonstrates the difference one great teacher can make!
FRANKLIN WATER WEEK: The Harpeth River is a lifeline for both people and wildlife. It provides drinking water, supports a wide variety of aquatic life, and recreation for the community. Protecting our watershed is everyone’s responsibility, and ensures a healthier environment for all who depend on it!
Good Morning, Middle TN. It'll be warm again today, though we'll contend w/ increasing chances for showers & thunderstorms throughout the day. Some storms could be strong to severe during the afternoon & evening. Stay weather aware, & have multiple ways to receive warnings! #tnwx
