Everyone at BitBlockBoom heard the message but the least intuitive concept underlying #bitcoin is that money converges to one. You can study bitcoin for years and still not understand. Need to help more people get it. It's not that hard but some people do struggle with it still.

Bitcoin core functionally operates. It has been time-tested and survived through a few critical bugs. It has shown us the strength of operational resilience.

IMO, taking Bitcoin Core as it is and focusing improving the value proposition on tangential fintech seems the best approach, but through an integrated systems design approach that atomically connects features like taproot and segregated witness as the interface that inherits the core foundation and integral security properties of PoW, longest chain incentives/game theory while providing value for the new feature you are trying to add without disrupting the core code.

I like to think of Bitcoin like machine language (e.g. assembly), and the new builders are we are working on the edge of higher level languages that inherit the properties just as Procedural, Object-Oriented Programming Languages are building on top of assembly.

Is the existential risk of introducing a potential bug/critical fault in Bitcoin’s Core worth the transcendent effects to the whole crypto industry is something catastrophic happens? I would’ve answered this differently years ago, but after its operational success for over a decade, I formed more conservative view myself. @saylor @bitcoinarchive
