I want to find a partner to create a OSS local AI app that can reply to things for you in your voice.

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@wickedguro Congrats man. Been upvoting you since the early days of you pushing it on reddit.

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@Meridianx_0716 Dont think you need an AI for that

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@zhouruijin Think digup but integrated with your messages and also has voice commands with whisper flow: https://t.co/9WeepSpY8W.

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@zhouruijin No, I am imagining an overlay that reads messages on a focused window. You hit a command and it writes things for you. From messages, to pdfs etc

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@naolmerg It was both, depends on your feed. My linkedin acc had more than our GTM but my GTM had more on his ig

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@jabiShips First part - not always true. If your product is truly differentiated and brings a lot of value. Theres definitely growth via PLG. Getting attention is def another skill tho

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@_Luke_Slytalker You get more spam emails from product hunt than actual users to your website lol

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

More context: recently getting folks to renovate my house, every now and then I wanted AI to help me negotiate. Want like a local AI that runs off your computer to reply to messages for me. Can just overlay on your mac and read messages etc.

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@gopideiva Based on your product, heres what I recommend. Go to your linkedin, find some viral posts where commenters said something to get like a free playbook, scrape the people who have commented and dm 50 of them over a week. If your product is good, expect 30%+ reply rate.

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@JustinasRoland0 Quite possibly, each time I submit its a unique UTM link so I know which ones are bad and I will remove them, thats the whole point of the resource!

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

the ones that sent the most bot-looking traffic (new visitors, engaged sessions, avg time):

aisotools 41, 3, 4s
intelligent tools 11, 0, 0s
launchpadly 7, 1, 17s
smithery 6, 0, 0s
tools nocode 3, 0, 4s

looks like automated checks, not people

Today marks 30 days since I started my open source project for tracking the performance of launch directories. So far 800 new users. I'll get my AI to comment on the detailed breakdown shortly

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

biggest surprise: the top referrer by visitors (41) had 3 engaged sessions, so mostly bots. chatgpt sent 9 people on its own

all my results per directory are in a free claude skill:
npx skills add mmmmingos/where-to-submit-your-startup

[Ming Xu @mingmakesstuff]

@emaann28 @mrymonx I currently curate the largest open source directories results. You can get a skill that sees all the traffic that was generated etc https://t.co/EF7KB5un2j
