"hanya bbrp yang masuk tasteku" bisa dipahami kan maksudnya apa?
ga semua tulisan bisa masuk di seleranya semua org, gapapa kalo style tulisan kalian begitu yaudah, kan ini cuman mengutarakan pendapat. you have to be ok with the fact that you won't be everybody's cup of tea.
Itu karena dia ngerasa di serang duluan, terus jadinya ketikannya gegabah dan ngerasa lawan dia kalah telak 😮💨 kak melampauw, ur so kinddd I wanna kiss u so bad
knp pada kaget baca bubble pertamanya deh wkwkwk kan emg dia & gengnya terkenal sangat drama & manipulatif wkwkwwk akhirnya kebongkar sendiri kan sifat aslinya 💁🏻♀️
A leaked photo of him kissing his girlfriend on the bed during his pre-debut trainee days > Not a wrongdoing.
ㄴ Claims from certain anti-fans: ‘Since it’s a selfie, he must have spread it himself without her knowing’ > No factual confirmation, just their own baseless assumption.
A private account live broadcast with a friend got leaked > Not a wrongdoing.
Referring to ‘ㅇㅊ’ might have upset them, but that’s just speculation. It’s not our place to get involved with either Seunghan or ‘ㅇㅊ.’
Smoking in public > Yes, that’s wrong. Yes, it’s something to be criticized.
Seunghan issued an apology for this.
When we look at it objectively, the only reason to criticize Seunghan and for him to apologize is due to the public smoking incident.
However, the behavior of certain anti-fans wasn’t just criticism; it crossed the line into excessive hate. Seunghan had to apologize not once but three times and, after just two months since debut, was put on a 10-month hiatus.
Given the reasons above, yes, in the current Korean idol industry, Seunghan’s actions required caution. But through this incident, I hope we can change our attitude towards idols. From the company’s perspective, idols are products, yes. But before being products, they are also human beings. Seunghan did not do anything that deserves the level of criticism he’s received, such as being sent a thousand funeral wreaths and being verbally abused in unspeakable ways.
The anti-fans might argue, ‘Idols, since they live off fans’ money through fan service, should fulfill whatever fans want.’ But this attitude toward idols, especially from obsessive fans, is problematic. Being an idol does indeed mean entertaining and creating a fantasy for people to make a living, but they’re still people. Should those words really be coming from fans who claim to support them?
Seunghan, as a person, has only done things that aren’t problematic, but he’s received a thousand funeral wreaths and insults from countless people. Even on public forums, some of the most popular posters showed no consideration for their beloved members who would see this; they only thought of themselves. Could the other members of RIIZE have felt proud watching a fellow member be ostracized like this? Whether they support the group as six or seven members, RIIZE’s future must feel shaky. They witnessed firsthand how a teammate was dragged down by their own fans. Can RIIZE truly face you all sincerely?
Initially, since Seunghan was on hiatus due to controversy, I tried to understand the perspective of those who supported six members. But after this incident, anyone who thinks rationally could no longer support the group as six members. You’re not supporting RIIZE—you’re supporting the version of yourself that’s ‘obsessed with RIIZE.’ If you truly cared about RIIZE, there were countless better ways to handle this than sending funeral wreaths. If you felt Seunghan’s return was unjustified, you should have conducted a legitimate protest with valid reasons.
Some might argue that funeral wreaths have traditionally been used for protests. But the messages on your wreaths didn’t convey clear reasons for Seunghan’s departure; they were only filled with insults towards the artist. That’s not a protest.
What’s more, you didn’t even file a protest notification until the wreaths were already piling up. If you were truly confident in your reasons for Seunghan’s departure, we would have nothing to say. But all your claims were hearsay, and the group simply consisted of people who disliked Seunghan as a person.
For RIIZE’s future or, really, for the future of K-pop as a whole the current situation is completely unfavorable. I hope both the company and the anti-fans think carefully about what’s best for RIIZE and other idols.
