Islamic law: women sexually protected
Western culture: sexually exploited

Islamic Law: Rape can be punishable by DEATH.
Western reality: A sexual assault happens every 20 seconds and the overwhelming majority ends with NO conviction.

Islamic law: A husband is financially responsible for his wife and family completely.
Western culture: required to split the bills 50/50 in the name of “equality”.

Islamic law: women can work but DON’T HAVE to, and keep what they earn for themselves.
Western Norms: majority of women HAVE to work because at least 2 incomes are required to sustain an average household due to interest rates.

Islamic law: A woman’s money is HERS. Wages, Inheritance. Dowry. Gifts. EVERYTHING.
Western norms: in the event of a divorce… the man in entitled to 50% of all her wealth.

Islamic Law: Men must cover wedding expenses.
Western tradition: Even at her OWN wedding, the bride’s family is traditionally expected to foot the bill.

I BELIEVE ISLAM IS THE MOST PRO-WOMAN SYSTEM EVER REVEALED AND MODERN FEMINISM DOESN’T COME CLOSE.

I’m not talking about countries or culture. I’m talking about true, stand alone, Islamic law.

Show me another system that gives women a better overall package of rights, protections and financial entitlements.

I’m not a scholar and this isn’t a theological argument. Of course Islam is complete and needs no modern ideology or label. I’m simply comparing these rights with what modern feminism claims to stand for.

A deeply cunning man was glorified as a hero - Bal Gangadhar Tilak, a staunch supporter of child marriage and a believer in the caste hierarchy, is praised only because he was a Brahmin.

He did not contribute a single meaningful step toward social reform, yet is celebrated while true reformers are sidelined.

“Tilak was not a reformer. He was a revivalist. He stood for orthodoxy. He opposed every attempt to reform Hindu society.” – Dr. Ambedkar

“Tilak denounced the Age of Consent Bill. He preferred religion over reason, scriptural tradition over social justice.” - Dr. Ambedkar

In 1889, Minor Girl Phulmoni Dasi died in Bengal after her 35-year-old husband forced himself on her on their wedding night, she died from severe internal injuries. The outrage led to the Age of Consent Act, 1891, which made it rape to have sex with a wife under 12, even if married. Leaders like Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Madan Mohan Malaviya opposed the law, calling it interference in Hindu traditions.

Tilak criticized it in his paper ‘Kesari’. Bal Gangadhar Tilak didn’t just oppose Vedic education for women - he opposed all education for women & Bahujans. He attacked Phule’s schools for girls & lower castes, calling them a threat to “nationality” because they disrupted caste order.

Bal Gangadhar Tilak fiercely opposed widow remarriage, calling it anti-Hindu and a threat to tradition. He saw such reforms as an attack on Brahminical caste order and Hindu dharma - all in the name of “nationalism.”
