Mino has been sentenced to one year in prison, suspended for two years by the 10th Criminal Division of the Seoul Western District Court for violating the Military Service Act today, October 1st.

Mino said, “I have truly reflected deeply and regretted it every day. I feel nothing but apology to those who have loved me so much. There is no room for excuses. I offer my apologies once again.”

ในการสืบพยานวันนี้มิโนได้ให้การว่า หัวหน้าหน่วยได้แสดงถึงความเป็นห่วงถึงเรื่องสุขภาพของตัวเองอยู่เสมอ โดยได้อธิบายว่าหากวันไหนรู้สึกไม่สามารถไปทำงานได้ก็จะส่งข้อความไปบอกกับหัวหน้าหน่วยล่วงหน้าว่า ไม่สามารถไปปฏิบัติหน้าที่ได้ในวันนั้นๆ เนื่องจากปัญหาทางสุขภาพ และได้ปฏิเสธถึงข้อกล่าวหาว่าได้ทำการสมรู้ร่วมคิดหรือวางแผนร่วมกันเพื่อหลบเลี่ยงการปฏิบัติหน้าที่

มิโนยอมรับว่าได้ให้คำปรึกษาเรื่องโรงเรียนเต้นให้กับลูกของหัวหน้าหน่วย ไปตกปลาเป็นเวลา 2 วัน 1 คืน และให้หัวหน้าหน่วยยืมเงินจริง แต่ไม่ได้เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนเพื่อผลประโยชน์หวังผลตอบแทนใด ๆ เรื่องนี้เป็นเรื่องของความสัมพันธ์ส่วนตัวที่เป็นเหมือนเพื่อนร่วมงานที่มีความสนิทสนมกันเพียงเท่านั้น ไม่ได้เกี่ยวข้องกับข้อกล่าวหาในการละเลยการปฏิบัติหน้าที่

มิโนได้ให้การเสริมว่าทางหัวหน้าหน่วยนั้นไม่เคยบอกให้ไม่ต้องมาทำงานแล้วจะจัดการให้ หัวหน้าหน่วยยังเคยบอกให้เขามาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ให้ถูกต้องเช่นกัน แต่เนื่องจากปัญหาทางสุขภาพจึงทำให้ไม่สามารถทำเช่นนั้นได้ และรู้สึกเสียใจที่ไม่สามารถปฏิบัติหน้าที่ให้สำเร็จลุล่วงไปด้วยดีได้

โดยเมื่อถูกถามว่าหัวหน้าหน่วยให้อนุญาตลางานแล้วทำการบันทึกว่าเขามาทำงานตามปกติหรือไม่ มิโนได้ตอบว่า หัวหน้านั้นมีความเห็นอกเห็นใจในเรื่องสุขภาพของตัวเองเป็นอย่างมาก ถึงแม้จะมีวันที่ขับมอเตอร์ไซค์ไปทำงานท่ามกลางหิมะตกหนัก เขาก็ยังคงแสดงถึงความห่วงใย ซึ่งโดยเฉพาะในฤดูหนาวนั้นอาการทางด้านสุขภาพจิตและปัญหาทางร่างกายอื่น ๆ นั้นยิ่งทำให้อาการนั้นทรุดหนักขึ้น

มิโนได้ยอมรับว่าการที่ตัวเองบกพร่องต่อหน้าที่นั้นเป็นเพราะการขาดรับผิดชอบของตัวเอง ทั้งในเรื่องการมาทำงาน และการขาดงาน แต่ไม่ทราบถึงเรื่องของระบบการอนุมัติหรือการลงทำบันทึกการเข้ามาปฏิบัติหน้าที่ของเจ้าหน้าที่ว่าดำเนินการอย่างไร

โดยศาลจะทำการพิจารณาคดีอีกครั้งวันที่ 20 สิงหาคม เวลาห้าโมงเย็น
