Honest confession: I'm terrible at marketing. How terrible? I've spent 3 months just preparing to introduce Perstack. Not marketing it. Preparing to market it. I rewrote the description 200+ times. And each rewrite wasn't just wordsmithing — it spiraled into refactoring the software, reorganizing concerns, adding missing features, removing unnecessary ones. Basically redesigning the whole thing over and over.
I'm a developer to the bone. Give me a problem to solve and I'm alive. Ask me to articulate the value of what I built and my brain shuts down.
But I can't make good software without feedback. Everything I've been doing is just cleaning my room before leaving the house. At some point you have to walk out the door.
So — why am I trying to leave the house at all? Where am I even going?
I believe trillions of purpose-specific agents will eventually run everywhere, not just in data centers. They won't be generic general-purpose agents. They'll be highly specialized, optimized, countless varieties. And in that world, indie devs and small teams should not be at a disadvantage against big companies. Small, nimble teams should be more innovative. Competition should be fair. But these aren't natural laws. They have to be won through effort. Someone has to build the roads.
Perstack is a containerized harness for agentic apps. Agent topology defined in TOML, not wired in code. One container from dev to prod. Full observability on every delegation, every token, every reasoning step.
I've reached a point where I'm confident in what it is — its definition, its architecture, where its boundaries are. One company is already using it. I've started publishing a demo catalog that runs the same experts across multiple providers — 4 out of 5 produced a working dungeon crawler from the same prompt.

"Containerized Harness for Agentic Apps" — maybe it sounds ahead of its time. But if you feel the same urgency I do, you'll get it immediately.
The room is clean enough. I'm heading out. Feedback welcome.
