I thought a law that only applied when reasonable was also just as much not a law as one that was voluntary submitted to.

@_jacobwtaylor_ My dad was a vicar and never cancelled a morning service but over Christmas an evening or two would be dropped and as a family we would go to other local churches. Long term I think his occasional visiting of other local churches was part of meaningful partnership.

@BarelyProt I think they would also say their fuller confessions mean they stick more conservatively to what they see as proven by scripture rather than tradition. They are a more conservative reformation tradition because they hold more closely to sola scriptura.
They would say.

For better and worse they have much fuller confessions and are better able to conserve their reformation form than Anglicanism.
