@Beka_Staples Too many but essentially incredible examples of how the brain changes itself based on our experiences and needs. The effect this has had on people diagnosed with a range of issues and six emotional styles that are not fixed but can be changed by us!
@Dawn_Galway I totally agree. I have this affirming self chat with myself all the time. I am so bored of using deficit language about myself. This body with all its perfect imperfections has made it through 54 years. It rocks!
My family taking a famalam photo in front of the house I have lived in for 19 years and have just sold. So many memories and so much fun has been had here. #familyishome
First time since we finished school, I have woken in the middle of the night. Honestly not a fan! Although. the night sky is stunning and it's so quiet. #meditating -trying to sit with my thoughts and feelings knowing they are temporary.
@tweetKAustin@Headteacherchat@HeadsUp4HTs Also, think about your diary..you diarise your work commitments. Try diarising the other things: e.g one evening a week leaving early and not working; or commiting to a finish time and sticking to it. Planning an activity which is just for you e.g going in later and doing a class
Today, I redecorated my bedroom after talking to my boys about the plans for next steps - they were very supportive and it's very exciting! I am also grateful for how lucky I am to have choices and the wonderful life I lead.
@MissT1302 Hi I have been in the same position. I sought help through https://t.co/2Sf3cn3WMj I know others who have found them helpful. I also found myself an online professional coach/counsellor. It was transformative and gave me many tools to cope. Happy to chat.
