Most African education and training programs suffer from low-quality teaching and learning, as well as inequalities and exclusion at all levels.

Even with substantial increase in the number of children with access to basic education, a large number still remains out of school.

Though the sun shines, Africa still relies mostly on #fossilfuels and traditional biomass (firewood) for energy. This contributes to #climatechange.
However, estimates show that, the energy mix will shift significantly to #cleanenergy by the year 2100, dominated by #Solar Energy

A well-formalized and regulated Artisanal & Small-Scale #Mining sector can help reduce the environmental impacts associated with the activities.

This will also serve as a useful poverty alleviation alternative in many #poor #rural #communities in #Ghana.
