I used to write a lot of translyrics in middle/high school and I started trying my hand at them again recently but I kinda remember why I stopped writing them 🥴 it just sounds so off trying to force English into Japanese accent patterns

The section me and my friends were in was so fun though. Everyone around us was losing their minds and a bunch of us were headbanging and we could see the the staff and utaite backstage where they were getting ready to go out so we were all just waving at them the whole time

I mainly wanted to translate this cause I feel like a bunch of translations I saw completely missed the point for the lines "Isn’t it strange/That at an auction, no one gave a thought/To the old clock and its “Hickory dickory dock!”/That felt like it was snickering at me"
