Been broken mentally lately… I’ve realized people don’t get to power because they care, but rather because they simply don’t.

Trying to collaborate with others to create change and solve meaningful life issues has been like a humiliation ritual lol… the people with the capacity & resources to spark this change…. very few care. It’s demoralizing and disheartening… that’s one naive world view shattered lol

But you realize more that the people who truly do care are often the ones without the resources, who will sacrifice the little they do have to help others. Those are the heroes.. and they’re everywhere, just don’t usually have the visibility/platforms…

Did have something meaningful happen… had a mutual message me the other night that had caught a tumor after a cancer awareness post I’d made.

I’ll always say it, but regardless of any social media algorithm, using your voice for that one person is everything. Doesn’t matter if the message falls empty to 99%. If there’s one person out there who is positively impacted from your message, that’s real. That’s why you do it.

I’ve been staring in the dark for a few days. There’s a lot of people who care, even when it feels like there aren’t. I’ve realized that more and more. We have to keep going out and fighting for one another. There’s a lot more of us than we think.

10 years ago i didn’t even really understand what a #1 album meant, but then ever since blurryface i kind of really wanted it again, but never got it.
then i stopped wanting it and just wrote an album for you. for us.
and that’s when you guys showed up bigger than ever. you did this. buying vinyl, or a box set, or going to listening events, or streaming and telling other people. thank you so much.
this is the most proud i’ve ever been to be a part of this band.
