COMFORT
I had the privilege of comforting one of the pupils who visited our church today when they had a brief wobble. It only took a moment, and a few minutes later they were smiling again and ready to move on with their day.

Reading Isaiah's picture of the Lord Almighty, ruler of the universe, as a gentle shepherd who holds his lambs close to his heart, brings me much hope. He always deals with us tenderly. [Isaiah 40:9-11] #imycadvent

There was a beautiful moment during worship at close of business last evening, when Conference held silence for an extended period, not because we had to, but because God was present and no-one dared break it. 'Be still, and know that I am God' #awesome #MCIConf23

It was so good to participate in the Ordination Service - warm and long, but a joy to hear five ordinands' experience of Jesus' call, to share in worship and word with hundreds, and to return to distributed bread and wine for communion.
