@PYMundGenealogy Interesting, have never seen it.
The פסוקים of Tal/Geshem were omitted at an earlier stage due to the מהר"ם מרוטנבורג (hence the reason the פסוקים of the קרובה were omitted).

@PYMundGenealogy @Cambridge_Uni The "13" is part of the reason the whole 2nd part was omitted at a very early stage, since the Kalir's choice of פסוקים weren't acceptable and therefore couldn't be used as a substitute to the תקיעתא דבי רב, unlike the תקיעתא of the יתום which originally served as a substitute.

Check out the full version of the Kalir's תקיעתא, where the part containing the 13 (!) פסוקים never made it to Europe and only partially survived in the genizah (pic from Prof Elizur's book)
