@LAkings23811 Cover 0 blitz outside shade. It’s basically a gamble that your defense wins off the line and if they don’t, that the outside receiver either has an outbreaking route, or that your outside shaded db (stukes) has the closing speed to make it up
I know there is a lot of talk about QBs sliding… I slid my whole career & never took a hit like you see now & that’s when hitting was allowed!
I don’t believe it’s the sliding that’s the problem, it’s the TIMING of the slide! QBs are pushing envelope bc they are more protected & they expect defenders to just assume they aren’t going to keep running… bad assumption!
Go down early or just be a running back - the in-between is the problem IMO!
@EmeEses@DodgersNation Defense matters. Especially when even on a heater his ceiling was likely a bench bat, maybe a platoon if Teo slumps at the most.
Hitting off the bench is also another skill completely different than starting the game, which is why DePaula going down makes sense.
@DanClarkSports Career season line…. .270 AVG, 20 HR, .400 OBP, .450 SLG, .850 OPS.
Elite walk rate & plate discipline. Above average but not elite hitting, solid power. Carried by walk rate, pitch selection. Very low K rate.
@united
Is a scam corporation. They take members with their card and charge them bags anyways. Won’t let you on flights without paying their bag fees, even if you are a card holder and should be exempt.
Whatever you do - DO NOT purchase the United card. You can’t actually useit
@THEGOATtwo09 B-… a lot of these guys were drafted on impact in y2-3+
I think Stukes becomes true starter by mid season, both corners are rotational pieces this year. Crawford on IR hurts.
Not great, but not awful. To me, right in line with expected value at this point.
@MLB PCA, but it’s close. An Ohtani heater and return to pitching very quickly changes it.
PCA’s generation defensive season is very relevant here, and I’d argue (WAR would agree) has been more valuable than Shohei’s limited innings on the mound.
I’m a Dodger fan btw.
