After learning their backstories their struggles, seeing the mountains of corpses if expeditions who died in vain for a chance that they might have a future only to think, “nah there not real” idk what to tell you

Like we didn’t spend 80% of the game understanding their pain and hopes only to be expected to ignore all that in favor of the monster who is killing them all
