@dinocl16 @effonecasualfan This is a strange hill to die on. It was a single yellow, then green as George drove through. At NO point in his onboard was it a double yellow.
The responsibility is NOT on George to treat a single yellow like a double. It’s on the FIA to throw double.

@dinocl16 @effonecasualfan No, they should have thrown double yellow - as mentioned by almost all the drivers and pundits.
Kimi was told by Bono incorrectly that it was a double. Seperate issue.
@dinocl16 @effonecasualfan Very smart and well articulated argument.
Risk is in the nature of the sport. It’s FIA’s responsibility for controlling it. If it’s too risky, they change their processes, or they change the rules.
It’s how this sport has operated for decades.
@dinocl16 @effonecasualfan Single yellow flag necessitates certain drawbacks in risk, as outlined in the rules. George took those appropriately. If the danger is still too great, that’s on the FIA, not the driver.
@dinocl16 @effonecasualfan Which is superceded by his role as a driver. He would not be head of driver’s association without primarily being a driver. Driver’s job is not to moderate safety while in the car.
@dinocl16 @effonecasualfan It’s not the driver’s job to moderate safety risk. That’s what the FIA is for. That’s what the rule book is for. The driver’s job is to drive up to the rule book.
@TomP1Bellingham Without Max though, curious to see where he would have landed. Hadjar being able to fight up there on debut w red bull gives me hope that Max would be there or thereabouts
@Manish_FCB@_____ebag@AppleTV Maybe apple will be exclusive rights holder?
Haven’t read into it but if ESPN lost the rights then it could be a downgrade for consumers who now need to get Apple TV for f1tv as opposed to having it bundled w ESPN
