Robot instead of a housekeeper — China tests the Panther assistant

In China, a home robot called Panther is already being tested in real apartments.

It can wake up owners, manage schedules, cook simple meals, clean, do laundry, and control household devices. It moves on a wheeled base and navigates around the home with ease.

In demonstrations, the robot even prepared a smoothie for a child and escorted them to school. Developers say it can handle nearly all everyday household tasks.

@Toperz_ @JollaHQ It's an AMOLED display. The always-on display (in the meaning of a black screen with 12:30) feature hasn't been announced.
But I assume there will be a touch to wake feature, like on the old Jolla Phone, and if it doesn't exist, it will be possible to activate it somehow.
