The National Weather Service has issued an enhanced risk for severe weather for northern MS beginning this afternoon (4.27.26) and lasting through the evening.

Another round of severe weather is expected Tuesday afternoon (4.28.26) into Wednesday morning (4.29.26).

The National Weather Service in Jackson has issued a slight risk for severe storms in parts of Mississippi on Sunday night (3/15/26). Damaging wind gusts are the main threat, but a tornado can not be ruled out.
