My country is beautiful! One of the most scenic roads in Kenya is the Chebilat - Ikonge - Chabera Road. Tarmacked in 2021 the road beautifully snakes through the undulating landscape views that cover the @sasinikenya tea farms in Nyamira County. So if you are driving to Western Kenya during the day consider Mai Mahiu, Narok, Bomet, and Sotik then join the Chebilat - Ikonge - Chabera Road finally join the Kisii Kisumu road just before Sondu. Less traffic (read very few Buses and heavy commercial trucks), beautiful views and according to Google Maps it has the same ETA as the traditional Nakuru, Kericho route.
