I also realize these tourneys are incredibly hard to not have at least 1 region rematch, but id expect that more in playoffs when there are less teams. There's really no reason either of these 2 games had to happen, there was a better option for all of them

Swiss is 100% my favorite esports tourney format but it would be SO much better if we couldnt just get region rematches. We wait all year to get 3 (not Saudi) tournaments to watch regions compete vs each other and instead Toronto has given us PRX v GenG and BLG v WOL #VCTMasters

We could have gotten PRX/GEN vs SEN when they were all 1-0, but instead SEN got 2 Chinese teams. Not saying those teams are bad by any means but it just feels a lot worse when you realize that SEN has not had to prove they are a good international team, just better than China.
