After almost 28 years of service, today marks the first official day of retirement for Firefighter Terry Cormack.

An exceptional leader with a great sense of humour around our Palmerston Station.

Congratulations Terry & Thank You for Your Commitment to Minto Fire.

"To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die."
Yesterday, we lost one of our best, Captain Pete Henderson.

A strong but gentle leader, Pete was a tremendous presence over his 35 years. A great loss to all who knew him & someone we will miss deeply, may his soul rest in peace

@mintofiredept RIP Captain

[John Nater @JohnNaterMP]

Nine years ago, the North Perth community lost two of its finest. Let us never forget the sacrifice of the first responders who put their lives on the line for all of us. Ken Rea and Ray Walter will forever be remembered.

[Dan Ellis @dano1408]

Santa Claus is coming to Clifford @TownofMinto tonight, 7pm. Don't forget those non-perishable food items. Also, line up along the parade route early as firefighters will be handing out gifts to the kids. Visit Santa at the fire hall after the parade. @MintoDC
