@Charles69270792 @alec_lewis No, he said he would be "out" on the 53-man roster. If it turns out that he only was included on the roster because the Vikings couldn't find a trade partner soon enough, but he is dealt within the next two weeks, then he will basically have been right.

@Charles69270792 @alec_lewis He made a projection. In order for the projection to be correct, the Vikings would have had to successfully trade McCarthy for a return they found acceptable. That obviously didn't happen. Let's wait until Week 1 and see if JJ is still on the Vikings roster by then.
