Many people have interpreted Otunba Segun Ogunwuyi’s reported resignation as an act of greed, arguing that he has been adequately rewarded for his loyalty over the years.

But what many fail to realise is that Ogunwuyi is not the only one who feels this way. Others reportedly share similar sentiments even though they might be silent right now.

You cannot argue that age ruled him out when he is the same age as Boda Bimbo. Some have also suggested that his place of origin was a factor. But what about those from Ibadan who have stood with Seyi Makinde for years?

Y’all need to wake up and smell the coffee.

I joined 200 young Nigerians at the grand finale of a vocational training programme facilitated by the Federal Government through the National Poverty Reduction with Growth Strategy (NPRGS), under the Office of Dr. Abiola Arogundade @OSSAPTVEEng , Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT on Technical, Vocational and Entrepreneurship Education (OSSAP-TVEE).

In just two weeks, the participants acquired skills in Graphic Design and Artificial Intelligence (AI), Makeup Artistry, and Fashion Design. Each graduate received a start-up kit, while 500 tablets were distributed to support digital access and learning.

I commend Dr. Abiola Arogundade and the Federal Government for this investment in our young people. Every young person deserves the opportunity to turn their skills into sustainable livelihoods. Youth empowerment will be a priority under my administration.

I was pleased to attend alongside Senator Yunus Abiodun Akintunde, APC Campaign Director-General, Barr. Yemi Aderibigbe, and other APC leaders and distinguished guests.
