@chetaslua Am I the only one who doesn't find the pelican comparisons that useful anymore? I could tell the difference between broken and decent pelican SVGs in the past, but now the differences feel more like artistic preference. Should we move onto a better SVG with more complexity?

@vborotoo @zachpogrob I'm speaking from experience. A plain response is much faster than an HTML artifact. But that's not my point, there's a place and a time to invest the time and tokens to generate HTML. Saying you should work 100% in HTML doesn't make sense.

@unclebobmartin When AI starts to iterate on itself and improve autonomously, how much weight does the initial "human direction" have over time? I don't understand enough about it to give an opinion on the dangers, but "The mind of AI is OUR mind" sounds like a very shallow, opinion-based take.

@matthewmillerai If OpenAI was truly number 1, they wouldn't be giving away so many resets. They're trying to spin this as "we're the people's company" when really it's just upfront marketing spend to acquire customers. As long as it lasts I'm in for it, but when it eventually ends I'm out.
