I disagree that lawyer from the AG’s below the rank of Senior State Attorney should be permitted to call cases ahead of seniors. 2 years at the bar no even ask permission from someone 20 years at the Bar. Even if you’re from AG’s simply asking is courtesy.

Between 6pm and midnight on most nights, going back at least two years (with a brief 6 month break), the voltage in my area has dropped (what we call “low current”), with the effect that appliances like fridges and air conditioners do not work properly in that period. That’s most nights.

I always thought it was just my house, and it didn’t really bother me, because, you know, meh…Besides, if you want to go and chase this, they’ll toss you saaaaa… it was easier to just firm it cos who has that time…

…But then last week I visit my former boss at TaylorCrabbe, and he also mentioned that he’d had a similar problem in his neighborhood. He lives about 15 minutes away from me.

So I joke that “Oh my government is in power, so I’m going to call the Minister”. Then - genuinely in jest - I send @MrRockson a voice note explaining the problem.

He sends me a response about 30 minutes later, apologizing sincerely for the problem, and promises to work on it the moment he touches down.

This was early this morning. Since then, I have received no less than 15 phone calls from all manner of big men at ECG, literally falling over themselves, moving heaven and earth to solve the problem. I have never seen anything like this. Cos it’s not like I’m some big man uno. Me norrr this, lol. And mind you, I wasn’t even really serious. I didn’t actually think anything was going to come of it.

But it’s 7:30, and both my fridge and my AC are functioning properly for the first time in WEEKS. Like….!?!?!

Nah I have to give @MrRockson his props cos it’s not just me. I see people @ you with their energy problems all the time on Twitter and you take your time to respond and address each one separately. That’s a level of responsiveness I’ve never seen from any government or government adjacent body since I was born.
