I learnt today that one of the way to develop Good habits is to make the habits attractive
I learnt about what we called a supernormal stimulus and it has do with how our society is filled with engineered and heightened version of reality and that is why you will see that in advertisements,billboard most of the things there seems to be very exaggerated but there is something that does to the brain there is a dopamine spike(that is your motivation to act on the stuff increase) as that advertisements have bring to you an expectation And It is the anticipation of a reward of an habit not the fulfillment of it that get us to take action
Without desire , action dies
If history serve as guide the opportunity of the future will be much more attractive than that of today
The goal isn't to publish one book.
The goal is to create assets that keep working long after the work is done.
Keep publishing those quality books.

I learnt today about the power of our environment how it beats any form of motivation
Our environment is the invisible hand that shapes human behavior
You are more likely to exhibit often habits related to things that you can easily find around you than others not easily visible
For example if you want to develop a reading habit try always keeping a book you want to read just near your bed
If you want to be drinking more water than Soda, let water be kept where it will be more visible and soda where it canโt easily be seen
You donโt have to be the victim of your environment, you can be the architect of it
A small change in what you see can bring a big shift in what you are doing
It is not about whether you are successful right now or not
It is about whether your currently lifestyle,daily habits, trajectory shows that you really want to be successful
