Had spicy Korean food and beer with friends after swimming! 🍻 We talked about aging—our crawl stroke is slower now, and we dread the next-day muscle aches and joint discomfort. Sign of getting older! 😅
After the rain stopped, JIIJI visited our family grave alone. Glad he returned safely with Nakamuraya bread from Tateyama and fresh garden tomatoes!

Received some delicious pears from Ichikawa! They were harvested right before the heavy rain and sent to me. Thank you so much for your kindness during such a tough time! ✨
A typhoon is on the way, making it cloudy and cool today. Strangely enough, my backyard kumquat tree is doing something magical—bearing white flowers, tiny green fruit, and ripe yellow kumquats all at once! 🍊✨
Today was our usual SAIZE Group meeting. After having dinner at a slightly upscale restaurant, we went to our go-to Saizeriya for a second round of drinks and had a great time chatting. Taking pictures of the food wasn't allowed, so I took pictures of the souvenirs instead.
New crop rice – 2026🌾
I found freshly harvested Tanegashima Koshihikari rice at the supermarket for the first time and couldn’t resist buying some. I really appreciate all the farmers who grew it despite the bad weather.
😱 Too Afraid to See a Doctor 💦
My lower back still hurts.
The pain is so bad that I can't even study English.
I know I should see a sports medicine doctor, and I'm sure it would help, but still...
I'm just too scared to go.
