Republicans, especially those who claim to be conservative but act like part of the Washington “swamp” are squandering the advantage voters worked hard to secure. The American people turned out and gave President Trump unified government for a reason. They expected decisive leadership, policy follow-through, & meaningful action, not hesitation, infighting, or political theater. When voters deliver control of the White House, the House, and the Senate to one party, that is a mandate. It’s a call to govern boldly and deliver on campaign promises. Instead, what we’re seeing feels like stalled momentum, watered-down priorities, & a lack of urgency from members of Congress who were elected to fight for those very promises.
The frustration isn’t just about politics, it’s about accountability. If elected officials campaigned on securing the border, reducing inflation, cutting gov waste, protecting constitutional rights, and putting America first, then voters deserve to see measurable action, not excuses. At the end of the day, this is about honoring the will of the people. Leadership requires courage, not complacency. If Republicans truly believe in the platform they ran on, now is the time to act like it.
@LeaderJohnThune You should get to work tomorrow on the bill that stops sending our $ to the taliban and start the talking filibuster for the Save America Act.
Please don’t vote for John Cowan. Research all the text messages he and his staff deleted of his bashing Trump, J6, vaccines, and Liz Cheney fan. He doesn’t even live in our district. Rob Adkerson has been Barry Laudermilk’s right hand. Please do your research if you are MAGA and support Trump. John Cowan wrote terrible things about MAGA and deleted the evidence.
@mindofmunoz1@FoxNews@tedcruz I’ve ridden the NYC a good bit. I totally get the “understood” manners on the subway. But to say that people are friendly there is a bit of a stretch. I’m moving on from this back and forth. Have a nice day!
You’re right, good manners and being a good human are not exclusive to the south. But it is more common here and ingrained in our everyday lives than other places. We can agree to disagree. But don’t try to insult me by saying I haven’t been up north bc that’s simply untrue. Big cities are nasty, dirty, full of crime, and homeless people. Once you get out of those places, the country is a lot cleaner and beautiful. I welcome you to GA for your next vaca! We have it all!
@mindofmunoz1@FoxNews@tedcruz What’s BS about southern hospitality? You don’t like hearing yes sir/no sir? Having a door opened for you? Please and thank you? Offered help if/when needed? What’s wrong with that? It shows you haven’t really been in the south.
@BHausvik@GuntherEagleman Even on my worse days as a human being, I would NEVER wish anyone dead. You need some serious help. I hope you get some. Pathetic!
@Milajoy I feel it was early 2000’s - rise of social media and the iPhone. People became screen addicts and emboldened to spew lies and hate. Obama was definitely a race baiter and divisive but the iPhone/social media changed our way of life.
@SenTuberville At this point, I think ALL republican senators should be primaried! If anyone of them was really serious about passing legislation, Thune would be ousted at leader. The “tweets” sound good but it’s simply noise. Until there’s real action for the people, it’s time to clean house!
@malcolmkenyatta Why would you be embarrassed that American things are happening at Americas’s house? Lighten up! It’s fun for those that get to be there for the festivities.
