@UK_CAA hello, our @emirates flight from Stansted to Sydney was cancelled last night with no comms from Emirates. Phone lines & live chat not working, no response from @EmiratesSupport. No staff at airport. Can we rebook flights ourselves and claim reimbursement from Emirates? Ty

@EmiratesSupport I received an email saying my flight EK068 was delayed until 11:00 18th April but Emirates flight status checker is showing it’s cancelled. Is this correct? Will I be rebooked onto another flight? Have tried for 24 hours to get through on phone and chat. Travelling with 2mo baby

It’s also worth noting the reason I’ve had to change my flight is because my father is in hospital with a brain infection that has given him permanent brain damage. But not an ounce of empathy from Lufthansa.

I can book new return flights for £721. Again, £1001 fees one way!

Deeply concerned about @lufthansa’s ethics. Was just told rescheduling flight would cost £1001.75 one way (the original return fare was only £850). I asked the agent to recalculate and the change fee miraculously came down to £197.

Seems deceptive at best, fraudulent at worst
