@whinybunnygirl can’t the client just ask the artist to add it if they want it added? it ends up reflecting poorly on the artist if it’s not executed well

take that one ironmouse model for example, the rigger added something on his own and people thought the botched art was the artist’s fault

[mi @mirashiiyan]

if i, as an artist, intentionally choose to not add something, and you choose to go and add it anyways, i’m genuinely never working with you again.

claiming that it’s an improvement too.. is so disrespectful

PSA - Live2d Riggers... If the artist did not put a thigh squish for whatever reason, it is YOUR RESPONSIBLITY nay YOUR OBLIGATION as a rigger to PUT IT IN THERE #vtuber #live2d #thighsquish

model for @chibichomps

[mi @mirashiiyan]

mom... theyre cooking me for my offhanded rant on twitter

[mi @mirashiiyan]

@whinybunnygirl they do! it's also within my rights as an artist to simply not accept a commission though, no?

[mi @mirashiiyan]

@Mirrormn vtuber models are usually drawn by an artist and then rigged by someone else. if as the artist i were to be asked to add the thigh squish, i’d do it, but if as the rigger i’d worry about offending the artist

though this isn’t the case here, dando drew the model themselves

[mi @mirashiiyan]

@dandoartx oh, well, that’s good then. unfortunately some people sincerely are that annoying
