2/ "Busification" (or "бусифікація" in Ukrainian) comes from the word "bus" ("бус"). It’s a term for when Ukraine’s Territorial Centers of Recruitment (TCC) – the draft offices – forcibly snatch men off the streets, often violently, to conscript them into the war effort.
3/ Here’s how it works: a white van rolls up in a city like Kyiv or Odesa. TCC officers, sometimes with police or unmarked aides, jump out. They demand papers from men aged 18-60. No exemption docs on you? You’re grabbed – sometimes shot at if you run – and hauled off.
