The annual @VikramP00010459 BBQ is one of my favorite events of the year. Much has changed since last year's BBQ in the @LUNeurosurgery family! Becoming a parent and finishing training have been two huge milestones. Thankful for my #nsgy family and co-chiefs for their support!
Honored to be invited as speaker to the webinar on Future Leaders in Neurosurgical Oncology by @NSTumorSection with @Lucas_Carlstrom@mayoclinicneuro Thursday, May 18, 2023 6:00-7:00 pmET. Please join us at

You can’t give your best self to your patients when you aren’t given the opportunity to care for yourself to begin with. We all need to strive to promote an environment that takes care of each other and recognizes when our colleagues need help and support. ❤️
Lab meeting/journal club this morning with @dwainwright_PhD! Loving the involvement and enthusiasm he has for getting the @LUNeurosurgery residents involved! Shout out to @diego_d_luy for showing up and diving into siRNA and GapmeR and IDO talks! 🤯
So happy to see such amazing students match at so many amazing institutions!! Reflecting on my own match day, it was such an exciting blur, bittersweet and surrounded by so much happiness and nervous energy. Congrats to everyone!!! The future truly is bright!! #Match2023
We love receiving delicious treats 😋 I promise Joe is smiling behind that mask! It's such a privilege to take care of our patients. They take care of our human spirit in many ways, too. Go team! #humanspirit#bundtcake#Neurosurgery
It was such a joy to celebrate my co-chief Josh on his wedding to his rockstar partner in crime and better half, Ari. Truly a magical, gorgeous, and love filled night for sure. Great @LUNeurosurgery alumni reunion! All the love! Congratulations to Ari and Josh!!!!
Last week my grandma was diagnosed with glioblastoma, after 3 months of vague symptoms, and given 6-9 months to live. Some thoughts I’ve had as a resident/”primary contact” at bedside, cultural/family interpreter, and granddaughter, (I’m sure I’m not the first one):
@rbarnettmd@uk_neurosurgery Congratulations!!!!! You are going to do such great things! Your patients are so lucky to have you caring for them!! You are such a rock star!!! ❤❤❤
