@Suv2015 @drlucymcbride@KrugAlli@TracyBethHoeg Following! Our kids should not be punished further. Bananas for a 6 year old who wants to kick a soccer ball a few hours a week should have to test weekly. It’s outside! Let them wear masks and take other precautions
@seth_barnburner@DavidHiltonLA@lapublichealth@latsondheimer Yeh this is nuts!! Rec leagues are already resource strapped. How can they afford and run a testing program when they are just trying to get practice fields and volunteer coaches? Let’s not continue punishing our kids. Haven’t they suffered enough?
@benpadnos@larryelder Boooo!!! What can we do about it? I think it’s nuts to weekly test a 6 year old who wants to kick a soccer ball around twice a week for an hour when they are already indoors in school all week!!!
@SGVNSports Has LA County said if they will enforce testing for rec leagues? That’s just nuts. Our kids have suffered enough. No school and no sports for more than a year has hurt them so much mentally, emotionally and physically. Let kids go kick a soccer ball once a week in a mask!
@ReporterClaudia @KNX1070 Hearing some local sports orgs will have to cancel fall seasons because testing is too expensive. Is there a free or cheap path or do sports orgs have to absorb the cost?
@AdrianDayton Same thing happened to us on return trip ... couldn’t even order a Lyft. Jumped in a cab! And he knew where to go without nav or us telling him every single thing.
