It seems as the United States government used the data from January of 2025 when Serbia sent $66M worth of goods to US and imported only $16M in that particular month. If you calculate that ratio, you will get something close to 74% trade imbalance to which Trump administration applied a real reciprocal tariff of 37%. Now, I am not 100% certain this is the logic that US applied to calculate the tariff, but nothing else makes sense to me…
