It's been exactly two years since the day my cat Sergei came into my life and he really keeps me on my toes. These past two years have been some of the best of my life and I sincerely believe that it's largely due to his presence.

@singingsox I have, it was helpful. I was able to get paxlovid that same day and avoid symptoms entirely. It was also an exposure in a room with 6ACH HEPA, it was almost definitely a low load exposure but I did test positive.

This was with a first gen reader + covid-only cartridge

I'm largely in camp B but it doesn't start out of nowhere. Sometimes people just do not have the vibe match for B for me. If someone clearly radiates a lack of interest in a non-transactional friendship then B will never quite lock in.

@sxwrkr_ same, finding out that I'm a cyp2d6 poor metabolizer really validated/contextualized severe side fx from nearly all rx psych meds even at lowest doses. also many opioids barely working

@hellspatisserie the half of the time my dream self is aware is the half where pleasant things like flying any telekinesis are happening. then suddenly it's just so obvious I'm in a dream. not so much when car accidents or war or slasher film stuff, constant intense distress is just so uneventful

@StatisticUrban I would also add the relative comfort increases of the public health emergency era social program expansion, especially Medicaid continuous enrollment. For people who ended up removed from the rolls during the unwinding, it increased cost of living and/or healthcare instability.
