@mandarthalorian I remember a lecfosi once complaining it’s not fair that max’s mistakes end in a spin while charles ends up in the wall, well there’s a reason for that…..
@hi3ut remember how russell was scamming 2nd in everyone’s end of the year rankings despite not having a single decent race post singapore. the merc duo made that car look slow and 63 was so irrelevant no one cared enough to pay attention to his stinkers
There will be a time we will have an honest discussion about Mercedes being the clear cut second best car up until Monza last year and the only reason people didn't think so is because Russell had been an extremely overrated driver at that point and Kimi was a 12 years old rookie
@hi3ut this. i’ve been saying this last year too, the merc was the clear second fastest car most of last year and was far more consistent than rb but russell was pulling stinkers every other race and kimi could barely drive and was crashing out drivers left and right
let me jog your memory
canada25: russell suddenly breaks in an attempt to get max to overtake him under sc, says it was to heat up tyres, gets no penalty
monaco26: hadjar backs up into russell, gr asks for a penalty but his own precedent comes back to bite him in the ass😇

kimi raikkonen about max: “for me, he is the strongest. i saw him arrive in F1 during my second stint at ferrari. max is a phenomenon. he won his first race in spain right in front of me 10 years ago. there i realized that a star was born.”

Gabi: "Max would have won (the Nürburgring 24H) anyway if he hadn't had the problems with the car. With this, he shows the level at which he performs. That also applies to his teammates, who are friends of mine, like Dani. It was simply a great race to watch." 😌🙌

Very unfortunate and frustrating ending, but these things can happen.
I still really enjoyed the experience together with Jules, Luggi and Dani. Thanks to the team and everyone around the track for your support.
