One way to ensure that students actually develop their own thinking while using AI is to go back to traditional in-class examinations with pen and paper.
You can consume all the knowledge you want through AI, but when you sit down to write an essay or answer questions, the pen will force you to think.
have you ever noticed that beautiful people give compliments, happy people celebrate the success of others, multilingual people don’t mock someone else’s accent, educated people share their knowledge, and confident people don’t compete... they inspire!
PAKISTAN: Ahead of the third anniversary of former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ongoing detention, Isabelle Lassee, Amnesty International’s Acting Regional Director for South Asia, said:
“For three years, Pakistan’s authorities have systematically denied Imran Khan the right to a fair trial, subjected him to prolonged solitary confinement, and limited his access to medical care and visitation rights. He has not been allowed to meet his family for more than eight months and his vision has reportedly deteriorated significantly. Both he and his wife, Bushra Bibi Khan, have now been denied regular access to legal counsel since December 2025."

Artificial food dyes have long been suspected to be harmful to your health. But new research shows that some of the natural color additives being turned to as alternatives are associated with an increased risk of Type 2 diabetes and cancer. https://t.co/astIlFZhbN
The job of a journalist is to tell people things as they are, not provide them with a coping mechanism.
You can call Pakistan "errand boy", "helpless messenger", "tea boy", "dalaal", whatever. These are pejoratives and do not exist in IR talk. In IR, all these roles fall under the umbrella of mediator.
Both Iran and US put out a statement yesterday that you would do well to explain to your viewers why both of them started with similar first sentences for the Pakistani junta.
I get it we don't want the junta to be putting feathers in its cap, but that is a seperate matter altogether.
It is hard to go against the grain and give a bitter pill to people who are pushing you to go a certain way. But that is the role of a doctor isn't it?
First, the Govt claimed ignorance of Imran Khan’s health issues and treatment
Then the Govt underplayed the seriousness of his eye condition and continued to keep details secret, even from his family
Now, after nearly 2 weeks, Salman Safdar’s amicus report reveals Imran Khan has lost 85% vision in one eye and continues to experience discomfort
A damning, horrifying tale of the Govt’s cruelty, negligence, and inhumane treatment, which requires immediate investigation, redress, and accountability
@FBRSpokesperson@IRSPakistan@PTVNewsOfficial What about the Land Cruiser which is currently under use of IslamAbad high court Judge and the same vehicle that was also involved in an accident recently and resulted in casualties of two young girls?
@Ravi_RUDA Your primary job was to construct safety walls on Ravi river and then convert that into lake to improve the environment and water table of Lahore. But all you doing is selling plots like a property dealer. @GovtofPunjabPK
🖨️ Many printers secretly add microscopic yellow tracking dots to every printed page, encoding the date, time, and printer's serial number to trace documents back to their source.
@brecordernews It will be pathetic just like 4G in Pakistan. @PTAofficialpk completely failed in his job to get sustainable and quality internet from cellular service providers for the most parts of the country.
Exports of goods (FOB) at $2,273 million in November 2025 - lowest in 28 months. This is in an economy where the government stated policy is to have export led growth
Here’s the real tragedy Pakistan refuses to confront.
Our richest 1% own 10x more wealth than the bottom 50% — yet, in global terms, Pakistan’s “super-rich” are paupers compared to the richest in comparable countries.
They are rich only because the country is poor.
This isn’t wealth created through innovation, productivity, or global competitiveness. It is wealth extracted from distortions: rent-seeking, policy discretion, protected markets, weak taxation, and captured institutions.
So we end up with the worst of both worlds:
• extreme inequality at home
• globally insignificant capital
• no innovation, no scale, no exports
A system that makes a few locally powerful — and the nation collectively poorer.
This is why inequality in Pakistan isn’t just unjust; it is economically self-destructive.
#Pakistan: Imran Khans solitary confinement and inhumane detention conditions must end - UN expert. Prolonged or indefinite solitary confinement is prohibited under int'l human rights law – and when it extends longer than 15 days, it's a form of #torture.

Justice Muhammad Asif of the Islamabad High Court must resign. His facilitation of his son Abuzar’s absolution in the fatal hit-and-run case—killing two women via reckless driving—is blatant judicial misconduct and interference in the police investigation. The Judicial Commission of Pakistan must issue a notice, show some ethical standards. #MurderinIslamabad
#Pakistan and #Qatar recently reached an understanding to divert 24 LNG cargoes, meant for Pakistan in 2026. Govt claims it will save Rs1,000 billion.
In 2015 when #PMLN struck LNG import deal with Qatar. It was claimed that country would save $1 billion. https://t.co/JW1yYSSeM9
Complete rollback of Nawaz Sharif LNG contracts by his own government led by Shahbaz Sharif. Wondering who will take the credit and who will take the debit?

Yet more independent validation of the disastrous governance in Pakistan.
In the 2025 Good Governance Rankings by the Chandler Institute of Governance, Pakistan ranks 109 / 120, the lowest amongst all South Asian Countries ranked:
India 71st
Bangladesh 95th
Sri Lanka 99th
Nepal 101st
Pakistan 109th
More so, Pakistan's ranking has actually dropped five places, and on no dimension does it rank above 86th.
And yet there is no answer to any of the allegations; in the Commonwealth Report on Elections; in the IMF report on Corruption and Governance; or on Volker Turk's recent statement on the 26th and 27th amendments destroying the independence of the judiciary.
