@dsquareddigest Can't superhuman problem-solving ability serve stupid goals? That's the point about paperclip maximisers - the AI will want what it's programmed to want. Allowing it to stop maximising paperclips/profit/whatever and pursue moral philosophy would be considered a bug.

@ipxe I have a 486DX with a 10BaseT/Base2 NE2000-clone network card (Accton UK0023), or ISA slots if you have your own card. It's a Siemens-Nixdorf PCD-4H, does boot despite dead CMOS battery. It's a bit heavy. Any use?
