My beautiful wife of over 43 years died this morning … I am so lucky to have had her love for so long, I’m just devastated it couldn’t have been for longer. Please everyone make sure you do whatever you want with your loved ones now, don’t put it off

@7clarkyred @NikBoyle I asked how deep the filling was and he said he didn’t know until he started drilling. So I decided the best bet was to take the anaesthetic.

@7clarkyred @NikBoyle I went to a new dentist yesterday for a filling. He asked me if I wanted an injection or not! I’ve never been given a choice before, they just stuck the needle in regardless (but of course when a child there was never anaesthetic for fillings, just sick inducing gas for removals)

@SimonCarGuy I live on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds and indeed the Dales, so used to be able to exploit the manual version … but in the last ten years even the remote roads are busy with slow tourist traffic.
