@TruthOof@vngeIicc@dawllyana i really recommend catherine tebaldi’s essay “make women great again: women, misogyny, and anti-capitalism on the right” it addresses this exact idea of “submitting to one husband is better than submitting to 10 bosses” and why it’s not actually anti-capitalist/liberationist
not to give a celebrity the benefit of the doubt but in the video he makes it sound like he’s saying this more for pr reasons than anything else. like he says “i will consider any role offered how’s that” in a way that implies he’d consider it, not take it lol
@romihss shoulders/upper arms have been fine for a while i think! i will say women do generally wear less “strappy” tanks tops and opt for tanks with thicker straps but korea’s loosened up a lot in terms of clothing exposure especially in the last 5 years (besides low cut tops lol)
lol if you’ve ever been to korea this is a universal thing not just idols. you will see the tiniest mini skirts you will ever see in your life but if you’ve wear a low cut tank top people will stare you tf down. old men will miss their train stop staring at you
koreans are so interesting to me bc these idols are wearing outfits just as revealing for their comebacks especially when it comes to the legs and stomach but the second u show a bit of cleavage you’ll be getting called all sorts of names
@unniemwoi97784@MmmkayDo@JTF_90 @defiantflower you’re saying this under a post about someone who has openly stated they have been struggling with an eating disorder their entire life
@realBOTwriter@Might0fHeaven@rudebusterzz there’s plenty of attractions and experiences related to films that don’t entirely bastardize the work. a venue in la similar to this played the matrix but put the film to immersive backgrounds and didn’t use generative ai to remove a lot of the artistry of the filmmaking
@realBOTwriter@Might0fHeaven@rudebusterzz don’t truly portray the essence of what makes the wizard of oz special. if it can’t do that, what’s the point? why let this kind of stuff ruin something beautiful for the sake of gimmicky entertainment and profit?
@Might0fHeaven@rudebusterzz bastardizing the original beautiful set designs is one. ai generating a performance from a dead actor is another. i think replacing two munchkins’ faces with zaslav and the dude who owns the sphere is kinda egregious too but idk.
@hopfiIms@JakeStaFrm@rudebusterzz the wizard of oz is vibrantly colorful and beautiful and set in a place that doesn’t and could never exist. realism has no place specifically in the world of oz. it’s meant to look whimsical and fantasy-like, not like they’re in yosemite national park
@hopfiIms@JakeStaFrm@rudebusterzz they changed so many of the most beautiful things about this film with generative ai. you’re telling me you’d rather see the wizard of oz with bullshit ai stock image hills than the patchwork hills? it’s a disparagement to those who worked on the og film with a creative vision.
also all the comments about parasocialism are so stupid because rabidly defending a man that doesn’t know who you are/that you don’t know personally from valid criticisms from people who literally like him is just as parasocial as begging for dms
imoas are so irritating like all of you are anti-ai until it’s your fave saying he uses it… and suddenly the people who want him to just talk to fans instead of talking to an ai chat bot are just hateful bitches… do you guys have a semblance of a backbone or you just kiss ass
@Hxsyth@luistr640poli@ChiefTeef8@ColeSandick israel has received over $300 billion in military aid from the us since its inception. in exchange israel aligns with us objectives in the middle east. the state itself wouldn’t exist as it does today without significant us aid and involvement
