Claiming national borders are just like private property boundaries suggests that (a) rights exist for both collectives and individuals alike, and that (b) those of the former take precedence over those of the latter. It's just the opposite.

The "three functions" of money--medium of exchange, store of value, unit of account--seem to confuse people. It's an empirical observation, not the definition. Money is the generally accepted medium of exchange. Other "functions" tend to follow, but non-money can have them too.

#Trade is simple: voluntary exchanges, without theft, fraud, or force, take place because the parties expect to become better off from it. What is not simple are the consequences of political meddling with it, making trading a licensed privilege and a means for political ends.
