Finally finished reading In The Dream House by @carmenmmachado for grad school. And i am so overwhelmed with so many emotions. Took me 4 days to finish because all of the breaks I found myself needing. It’s definitely one of my favorite books. Im definitely rereading this.

Like i feel i can finally love it again and not feel like its a chore. I truly think I would have succeeded so much more in a BFA and not a BA but cant change the past. Lol i am just so glad i found Goddard and this wonderful MFA program.

Sometimes i cant wrap my head around the fact i have been able to read all these texts so easily but in undergrad I struggled so much. Reading as a writer and not as a “scholar” has changed my whole perspective of reading.
