@GolazioLondon Just realised this today, not tomorrow. I won't be able to make it in time from work. Next time! I live right behind the bar so you're very local. See you Fri for the FA cup match.
@RantOni_RD The TV advert has a child narrate that too much sugar can lead to T2DM and CVD. Not a fan of the emphasis of the campaign and potential to mislead.
@laurathomasphd Sorry, limitations of twitter. I'm partly familiar but still learning. I may have answered my own question. I'll have a think and maybe come back to you.
@Leicnut Not quite. The term implies cheap, nutrient-poor food. These foods tend to cost more than traditional foods in developing countries. The fact that we have a choice of cheap foods is why the term has arisen, and why it might be useful - to highlight the nutrient-poor foods.
@OHA_updates@WCRF_UK No evidence here that there is increasing use of takeaways. We don't know what people are switching from when choosing pizzas. This simply shows that ads are effective. Pizza is both the enemy. Neither is the occasional takeaway. Nonsense tweet.
@helenbond1@TheSun They introduce you as a nutritionist fyi. Fries have less salt, sfa, and kcals than a burger. Questionable advice from the other dietitian.
