If you’re trying to reach me on Instagram or Facebook, I would like to let you know I have been suspended from both accounts. I have wanted to respond to as many Indians as possible, but my responses will now be delayed. I hope I will get my accounts back. @Meta
CJI’s cockroach remark has sparked a mini GenZ revolution in India. It has great potential but should be steered carefully. To begin with they should start a movement on Employment by demanding a Right to employment Law
My PM never misses a camera angle,
but misses every press conference where questions aren’t pre approved.
The man runs from journalists
like a toddler caught red handed with crayons and zero excuses.
Modi deserves to be humiliated everywhere he goes.
He has not given a single press conference in 12 years since he became the Prime Minister. He fails to fulfill the basic transparency and accountability requirements of being a leader.
I would like to encourage foreign journalists from other European countries to ask him questions wherever they see him, just like @HelleLyngSvends did. Embarrass him so much that he is forced to show some accountability in front of people. You will be doing great service for India’s progress.
Education Minister of India must resign! Students are committing suicide because of NEET paper leak.
Cockroaches, take this forward. We need to fix the accountability.
Many journalists have been asking me whether this GenZ movement will turn into what happened in Nepal or Bangladesh.
Let me make this absolutely clear. Do not insult or underestimate the GenZ of India by making such comparisons. The youth of this country are far more mature, aware, and politically conscious than many give them credit for. They understand their constitutional rights and will express their dissent through peaceful and democratic means.
And please, do not demean them. Many of these young people are far more educated and informed than those currently running the government.
My colleague and I asked questions tonight both on why we should trust India given the human violations rights, and also about the visit.
I tried multiple times to get them to be specific on human rights, but I was unsuccessful. The representatives talked about India’s effort during Covid & also yoga, among other things. My colleague has the videos so I will try to publish tomorrow.
I never thought I would have to write this, but I am not a foreign spy of any sort, sent out by any foreign government.
My work is journalism, primarily in Norway now.
Norway respects India's need to source energy, but hopes PM Modi can use Indian channels with Russia to help effect a ceasefire in Ukraine conflict, Norwegian PM Jonas Store tells me as he takes questions from a group of Indian journalists in Oslo
Journalism is sometimes confrontational. We seek answers. If any interview subject, especially with power, do not answer what I asked, I will try to interrupt and get a more focused response. That is my job & duty. I want answers and not just talking points.
