For the last few months I've been building @storescreenshot
It's a tool that helps mobile app developers (like me) stop wasting time creating and maintaining their App Store screenshots
App Store and Google Play supported. Play with the interactive demo right in your browser!
Been quiet here lately and this is why
I've been deep in a new feature for @storescreenshot
An AI screenshot generator where you drop your mobile app screenshot, generate app store screenshots, edit the text and the AI generated content itself
Not finished, but i'm excited about where this is going
@abhijitwt Cursor sits on one of the biggest coding datasets out there, basically the full loop of developer prompts.
SpaceX paid mostly in its own stock.
Business is business.
Valuation still wild though.
@alexcooldev I wonder if hosting our own personal VPN on a server like Hetzner with WireGuard could get flagged by TikTok too. The upside is that not being stuck sharing an over-used VPN.
@buildinpublic Building a tool to create great app store screenshots in minutes, beautiful templates to start it without subscription.

Smart guides and auto-layout are live in @storescreenshot β¨
Elements now snap to center, edges and to each other while you drag
Auto-layout arranges all your frames at once, perfectly aligned and evenly spaced in one click
What blows my mind is the speed
Because the codebase is clean and well structured, Claude shipped this whole feature crazy fast
Good architecture is a compounding advantage
#buildinpublic
Huge update day for @storescreenshot
You can now drop app icons and logos straight into your screenshots
Added a batch of new templates to start from
I guess next week it's time to invest more on marketing π€

@alexcooldev The hard part now isn't writing the code, it's building something visually creative with great UX that doesn't
look like AI generated
This is still really hard, and need talent and dedication
That's why I still love building, it forces you to get better
@SaidAitmbarek Hey SaΓ―d, I'm building the best tool to generate & auto translate app store screenshots!
Resolving my own problem as a mobile developper and also pushing to automate that for others

@athcanft Personally I'm using Warp, very nice terminal, don't use any AI features included in the product but the layout is tailored for running parallel agents
In AI most people are still trying to use old maps on a new territory.
Throw the maps away. It's time to draw new ones. The only way you can do it is walking the land.
New big feature in @storescreenshot : automated translation π
Pick your screenshots, hit translate, and get them in up to 30 languages in one run
Each language becomes its own editable branch, so you can still tweak the copy and layout after
Localizing your store listing used to take hours, now it takes one click β¨
I ship to prod 30 times a day.
Every deploy has to stay invisible to real users.
Zero downtime.
You don't need a heavy platform for that.
In the agentic era, you can build the small tool you actually own.
So I wrote the simplest rolling-update tool for my projects.
