Most teenagers spend their post-board-exam holidays taking a break. These two friends spent theirs building a business.
After finishing Class 12, Surat teenagers Shreyanshu Rana and Pratham Pengawala turned a simple school fair experiment into a cold coffee venture of their own.
What started with selling 150 cups at a school event soon became Aes The Thick Coffee, a customised open-air coffee cart serving students opposite Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
Instead of waiting for college to begin, the duo invested nearly ₹90,000, designed their cart from scratch, and launched their venture in April 2026 with a simple goal: serve premium café-style cold coffee at affordable prices.
From selling 30-35 bottles on day one to building a loyal customer base, the young founders now operate daily from 5:30 PM till midnight.
In less than three months, their venture has reportedly generated between ₹1.18 lakh and ₹1.58 lakh in revenue.
Before college could give them a career path, these two teenagers created one for themselves.

Ciao, trovato una borsa rosa al neon "pitta rossa" nel tram 3 e lasciato indietro da qualcuno. la borsa si trova nella stazione M4 Vetra al piano di sotto dove il treno va verso Linate aeroporto. @atm_informa#milano
I’ve developed a new habit of listening to the “Teen Taal” podcast while driving to work. It stops my temper from flaring when I spot idiots on the road and I spot a lot of idiots 😅
I find it a very no-brainer podcast, all three guys discuss generic topics with a great sense of humour. I discovered it during the 2024 elections, when I used to consume it through short clips on Instagram. Now it’s the only show I play in the car, and I’m listening to all the old episodes too.
Very good stuff: @kuldeepmishra, @kamleshksingh, @007asifkhan 👍👍👍
No matter how fancy their products look, never order anything from @deployedstore. They’ll happily take your money, make you wait over a month, and still won’t deliver what you actually ordered. After that, they’ll perfect the art of ghosting—emails unanswered, customer executives “too busy” to pick up calls. At the end, your only real product is the experience of filing a complaint on the consumer forum. Truly impressive service.
