Just finished watching Obinrin Nimi.
It’s the story of a woman who spends so much time taking care of everyone else that she slowly disappears from her own life.
The movie left me with one uncomfortable question:
At what point does sacrifice stop being love and start becoming self-abandonment?
Women are always ready to marry nonsense hence there’s money.
We were all here when mark angels ex-wife called him out and said so many things about him. Things like : he made her do threesome on their wedding night.
He body shamed her after giving birth to their children.
Constantly bringing women into their matrimonial home. She said so many things that i don’t even have the strength to type.
Some women will always think that they are different or better than the other woman, or probably thinking they can change the man.
I’m saying this again for the umpteenth time, no woman will ever leave a man that treats her like a queen. So while you are shining your teeth wait for your turn.
Postpartum depression for me didn’t look like low mood or inability to bond with my baby.
It was having intrusive vivid thoughts of something bad happening to him. I would immediately pray against it and pray for him.
Went on for about weeks.
Sharing for awareness so that…
you know who really toxic? TODDLERS.
they terrorize you, destroy the house, and test your patience ALL day... then come cuddle like they haven't been acting like a felon since 7am.
Looking forward to my induction as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) on Tuesday.
My £850 must not be wasted😂😂
Their induction is quite different from ICAN induction🤣🤣🤣, induction starts at 6pm😂
10 years after qualifying as a Nigerian ACA, I’m finally being inducted as a UK Chartered Accountant 🇬🇧✨
I did it via the ICAEW Pathways route (Examination of Experience).
Here’s exactly how it works 👇🏾
Being a mother means putting yourself last…
even when you desperately need to come first.
You ignore your own exhaustion.
Ignore your own pain.
Ignore your own needs.
Because your child comes before everything.
But let me ask you…
who takes care of the mother when she’s running on empty?
